Every once in a while we have a customer who has already pried their IPOD open already using a screwdriver or pocket-knife (something we don’t advise, by the way), or perhaps they have already purchased a kit and want to use the same tool for a second IPOD they have. It is for these reasons that we sell just the battery by itself, without directions or tools.
