Camera Removal for
Apple 1st Gen iPhone (2G)

For high-security offices, or other places where a camera is not allowed, use our camera removal service to safely and cleanly remove the camera from your device.

Removing the camera in the iPhone takes expertise, and we have the talent in house to quickly and cleanly remove it for you. Your iPhone will be returned to you quickly and if you choose we can also send a Camera Removal Certification Letter so you can show proof it's been removed. The camera can be returned to you or you can donate it and receive $2 off! Just enter DONATE in the coupon code field when you check out and be sure to click "apply coupon code".

When sending in your device, please be aware that the amount of time it takes for us to address each device varies, but we strive for quick turnaround times in all cases. Our best estimate for your turnaround time will be included in the email you will receive when your device arrives in our facility to help set your expectations accordingly.

Once the camera has been removed, you can still access the camera (the icon does not go away), but if you attempt to take a picture all you will see is a black screen as if the lens cap was left on a traditional camera. The small circular piece of glass that protects the camera lens is not removed or modified in any way.
