Stay Away from iPod Battery Tools that Don't Work

Many of our competitors provide these cheap, light-blue “tools” with their batteries that are supposed to help you open up your iPod. Wonder why they give you two? Because the soft tip is so flimsy, it will bend when you try to use it to open your device, leaving you with a useless tool. So you turn to the second tool and unfortunately, that tip will also fail, and then what do you do? You are left with no options, leading most folks to give up and try to open their device with a metal screwdriver, which will scratch the finish and possibly even damage the iPod, so please don’t do this!

Only we offer our specialized blue plastic tool, designed to quickly open up your iPod without scratching it. We’d put a handful of these cheap tools up against just one of our tools.

And keep you eyes open: these “tools” are now showing up in other colors besides light blue (e.g. green, orange, black, etc.), so don’t get burned!

Even people in the tech field have noticed that the cheap tools included in other competitors’ kits are flimsy and might scratch your iPod – take a look at this article from Yahoo! Tech and see for yourself:
