We always have the option of replacing the logic board inside your iPod nano to get you up and running again (with your authorization, of course) if you find yourself in this situation, but keep in mind that these boards start at $100.

Note 2: We strongly recommend that you send your device to us for installation of your new battery, but if you are familiar with soldering, feel up to the challenge, and want to install the new battery yourself, choose Option 1 below and we will send your battery instead of expecting your device to be sent to us for replacement. This tells us that you understand that there will be no tools or instructions with your battery and you want to install the battery yourself. Note 3: The newer 5th Generation iPod nano looks exactly like the 4th Generation iPod nano. The distiguishing difference between the two is that the 5th Generation model has a video camera while the 4th Generation model does not. If your iPod nano looks like this but does have a video camera, you need the fifth generation iPod nano battery replacement service.
